Pentru cine nu a auzit de ONE CHAMPIONSHIP (și e okay să nu știți pentru că învățăm împreună) aș începe explicația prin a defini această organizație de MMA ca fiind un UFC al Asiei. Mai exact, ONE Fighting Championship (ONE FC) este ‘copilul’ miliardarului thailandez Chatri Sityodtong.
Această organizație de arte marțiale mixte a fost fondată în 2011 și este situată în Singapore. Cel puțin în Asia, ONE FC este mult mai populară decât Bellator și în unele țări depășește chiar și UFC-ul în ceea ce privește numărul de fani.

Cu această victorie, Ben Askren, care este și fost campion în Bellator, a reușit să se retragă neînvins în MMA cu un palmares de 18 victorii, 0 înfrângeri și 1 NC (No contest / Luptă anulată).
